Kia ora, as a team we’ve decided to postpone this weeks Queer Quiz so we can hold a memorial service for our dear friend Bill Costello.

 

A new date for the Quiz will be announced in the next month.

 

Following the passing of our dear friend Bill Costello, Pride Whanganui invites friends, whānau, and all those who knew and cared for Bill to join us as we come together to remember and celebrate his life.

 

Date: Wednesday 17 June 2026
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Location: Room 120, Community House, 60 Ridgway Street, Whanganui CBD

 

This will be an informal opportunity to share memories, stories, laughter, and friendship in honour of someone who brought so much warmth, kindness, humour, and companionship to our community.

 

If you are able, please bring a plate of kai to share for supper. Tea and coffee will be provided.

 

Whether you knew Bill through Pride Whanganui, the Hub, the theatre community, community events, or simply as a friend, you are warmly welcome to join us.
